Been playing off and on in bands over the years, although I have not been in a band for the past 7 years. Recently decided to turn my hand to home recording, but its all new to me and im not very good at songwriting which doesnt help.
I have a basic set up - use reaper for recording, EZ drummer for drum patterns, bass guitar, 2 electrics and amp, one acoustic, midi keyboard, some percussion instruments and a couple of mediocre microphones.
Looking to form online collaborations with like minded fellow musicians, this is purely a hobby for me, just interested in creating music for the sake of creating music and don't want to take it too seriously - just have fun with it.
I dont mind who does what with any of my ideas, if it sounds good then do it.
