Skill Details I can hold a tune and sing all the right notes. I'm a pretty decent vocalist but I'm not amazing. My range is from about low D to high G, but I'm more comfortable from low F to high C. I suppose you could describe my tone as 'sweet', although I can do a stronger blues-ier sound as well.

Skill Details I write a lot of my own music, mostly for vocal, piano, and guitar but I haven't done any compositions for anything other than as a soloist. I would love to combine my ideas with other songwriters to write music that would suit a band framework.

Skill Details I am mostly self taught, despite learning for a bit as a child. I am much better at improvising and learning by ear than reading sheet music- however while I'm a bit rusty I can read music if I try. I am good but not amazing.

Bio

Hey, I'm Emkaysi.

I've been writing music since I was 13, which makes that about 6 years now. Basic maths will tell you my age.

Recently I've felt the need to collaborate my ideas to give my music a bit more complexity and depth, rather than just cruizing along the way I've been doing.

My strength is in lyrics and songwriting, with vocals/guitar/piano being the way I usually express this.
