No worries. What I put down are junk tracks. They're meant only to let people like you hear what the concept that's playing in my head. Chop away my friend. I'm not even close to being good enough at guitar to think they are final tracks - lol Yes. If you get a nice drum thing going, that would be a great spark to maybe inspire others.

I'll be working late tonight but I'll try to break away and send the tracks individually.

I just downloaded the rough track you originally posted, just to play around with some drums to it. I may have to chop up your tracks a little. The rhythm of the
guitar & vocal gets a little squirrely & off time. Would that
be ok with you? I am assuming you'd want to get drums down
then guitar & vocal after......?

Hey...well do not worry about me getting upset about your comments on the version i did..ive been a working musician for about 30 years now and I have heard it all..lol..lol..I myself am a perfectionist as well when it comes to creating music...as for the rythm guitar track it is not a loop...it is an actual live guitar track..and yes I can send you a dry version of the guitar track...as for the drums I did them maually on a drum VST....useing a drum machine works really good if you start with the drum track first and then build the other instruments on top of it....you can not really use a drum machine if it is not the first track because live musicians are human and so they may sound on beat and time to the listener but when you try to place a drum machine in with them the drums may start off in time but then you will hear tempo variation from the live musicians...the drum machines and sequencers can work in a live setting as long as there is some type of beat from it to start everything off....as for my style yes I do have my own style and sound...I can play various styles of music but when i do my own style still shows through...so overall sure we can continue to collaborate on stuff but with the song Find Our Way my style of playing simply may not be what the song needs....as for the song projects I posted on my page feel free to mess about with them.....I do not recall if there is a place for a link on my page on this site so that people can go to my other sites and listen to the different stuff I have done but I do have a page on sound cloud and my space under the name Lunatic Supernatural Dairy...which is a music project i have going for studio recordings as well as live performances....the only member of it set in stone is me..all other members are various musicians so for the live shows and studio works there can be different musicians at different times....kinda long the lines of the way Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention worked with a varried musician line up....well anyway I will post the dry guitar track here soon for you..

Bravo my friend..   I can't say that you hit a home run on the first try but I am excited and thankful that you're at least stepping up to bat :)

Please know that whatever feedback I give is done in the most positive way in order to help us both grow musically..   Likewise, I hope that you're equally up front and challenge me to grow as well. One of my worst attributes is being over critical and attempting to set the bar as high as possible. (not that I can ever live up to it.) So take whatever I comment on as "just my opinion" and my attempt to inspire the creative process in both of us. :)

Based on other songs from your profile, you have a great "unique" theme to your sound.   I'd like to play with a couple of those songs in the near future.   I'm not sure if that sound translates to this project.

However, I'd love to take your rhythm guitar track and put a different vocal line.

There's a cool feel that you have that's a little raw but I think we could grow with it. (Can you post just the guitar track (DRY) ???

Back to this project.

You mentioned having a lot of different guitar sounds.   That would be something to explore if we can get a strum structure down that better fits the song.

At first listen, I hear 4 things going on here.   rhythm guitar / melody guitar / drums / Over all mix

1) The melody guitar is very busy. (At least with this vocal line) I love guitar flavoring but I think you need to sit back on it a bit and use it to compliment a vocal line. (Probably the reason I hear a different vocal line now .. Which I think will be fun to experiment with.)

2) Rhythm guitar.   Is this a loop ? At the end, it doesn't follow the chord structure. Anyway, I like the strum structure but for the wrong reason. :)
I don't think it fits with the vocals.   I'd love to take that guitar and do a complete different song.

3) Drums. While your drum skills are probably better than mine, they're work against the song. It's a timing thing.   All three elements [rhythm guitar / melody guitar / drums ] feel like their walking down three different roads instead of going down one road together.

4) The over all sound has a lot of effects on it. That's a complete "taste" issue, some might say you don't have enough (lol) My thoughts are that the reverb on the melody guitar is cool. but you shouldn't have a master reverb over the whole mix. It makes things sound muddy.

Hopefully, you don't hate me after my project notes.   This is definitely a GREAT starting point. A creative spark to see if we can build a nice fire.

Can you post just your rhythm guitar? (dry) One track like you have it but dry and one track acoustic. I can also ad guitar effects from my computer so a dry acoustic version will give me the tools to play around with.

Let me know your thoughts. I look forward to seeing what we can pull off together.

Hey man..well I uploaded the new rendition I put together...I can always make further alterations if need be like different snare drums or bass drums as well as different effects on the drums,bass, and guitars...the guitar amp i use is digital and it has over 200 different guitar effects on it and you can tweak each one of them as well...I also have many different synths and VST's as well if need be...well let me know what you think.

Hey thanks for the chord list...as for the drums..I figure either you or I can put the drum track to it...or we could always see if another musician on this site would like to do it...well I will post my rendition track here soon....as for working on this site I enjoy it as well..I like to collaborate with other musicians from around the globe...the diversity improves my skills.
