I have deployed a new feature onto the site last night that I am calling the Lounge. The lounge works like a virtual night club where people who are into a certain genre of music can get together, hang out discuss music and exchange ideas. The first of these virtual night clubs is the Acoustic Café.

The Acoustic Café has its own look and feel. It has a unique top banner, colors and background image. It is made up of several sections:

·         Home – Shows latest published songs in Bluegrass, Acoustic Rock, and Folk genres and a News Feed that aggregates all updates for workspaces, songs, wiki articles, and discussion boards related to the acoustic genres. The news feed is updated every 15 minutes

·         Chat - This is works like the “Band Chat” but does not restrict anyone from joining. It is a public chat for people into acoustic music

·         Workspaces – This section lists all active workspaces and open positions in those workspaces

·         Bands –  Lists all virtual bands for the acoustic genre

·         Discussions – A place you can post general questions and have them answered by the community. For now I have set up three topics and am not allowing others to create new ones. This will change with the next version.
