rocknrollguitarplayer has uploaded a new Track with the title Rythmn Guitar.
File Description:this is the heavily filtered beach waves rolling type stereo effect,, i think it will blend nice with the heavy bass riff and reverbed lead guitar as a background rythmn texture
texture of the waves rolling in and out of the beach,, see if i got the tone right,,
we will soon know with mixing,, i can adjust tone really easy and blend in some standard overdrive if need be.the rythmn is only for the waves rolling in and out the beach texture and so it doesnt overlap the bass riffs or lead guitar its set back purely has a heavily filtered track so theres no audio frequencys clashing hopefully,, we will soon know with mixing and that can be adjusted very easily

will be a real easy track to make neat and tidy

yep we need bass guitar only track and i upload rythmn so it easy for a drummer to jam some grooves on and then we top it off with lead guitar sound effects and as many creative ideas we thow up together to make this a bit of a surfer rock audio feast for the ears :) haha making that surfing music audio experience thats the mission and audio feast for the ears :)

allright i will upload the rythmn guitar and we will need bass and we should invite henk
i think henk would enjoy jamming drums on this track,,, he plays marching band lots of snare drum practice,, so henks well practiced snare rolls would be a very good special drum groove feature in this style of music
like wipeout big drum rolling groove, so i think henk would enjoy this style of music to jam lots of room for a drum roll

i will work on it a little more 1960s style surfer rock would be a fun jam style to get neat and tidy somthing a little different makes for good variety, yeah i like the style, im surprised there arnt any bands making surfer music these days, its a good style to jam pretty unique and different to what everyone else is doing, makes for a good challenge and alot of fun keeping things fresh with different styles like that
yeah the lead guitar tone sounds pretty funny, the tone sounds more like a trumpet or some other squeaky brass instrument played by a funny weed smoking charecter in the corner of the jam room,, toot toot toot de toot toot ahahaah thats the idea with the lead guitar melody ahahah
its a bit of fun making some funny sounding tunes and have fun doing it :) yeah surfer rock is a style that will be alot of fun to jam i think :) makes jamming fun

rocknrollguitarplayer has uploaded a new Mix with the title surfer rythmn guitar and lead idea.
File Description:the rythmn in the back ground has overdrive with alot of filters oscolating to make it sound like the tides of the beach waves rolling in and out tidal guitar effect is the idea the waves of the surf rolling in and out on the beach type rythmn guitar idea
with the lead with clean reverb and alot of whammy bar on the lead , along with the heavy surfers holiday road trip bass
i upload this idea to see what you think to the rythmn and lead guitar combination idea for contrast in making a surfer rock theme. this is the full 3 minute jam 16 bar arrangement it works really well with alternating lead riffs
this is the surfing holiday road trip for musos who enjoy the beach, drummers and keyboardists feel free to join in and lets make some surfing music

rocknrollguitarplayer has uploaded a new Idea with the title 16 bar jam lots of reverb.
File Description:this one is going to take alot of practice this is sort of what im thinking for a surfer rock style lead guitar tune
lots of reverb on the guitar with a heavy bassline sounds pretty cool actually,,, i havnt put that much reverb on a guitar before so im surprised how surfer it sounds when putting heavy reverb on it like that,, im used to playing naked guitar tones ahahah reverb feels like ive been a nudist all my life and now ive finally put on some clothes for a change ahaha i like the reverb its a very different sound
i will practice some more tommorow,, and hopefully have a guitar track neat enough for it soon this is 16 bar jam of alot of alternating riff ideas will be a fun jam track, this will be a tricky one going on the CB and then B Bb A G E combo mini bridges ahah thats where i was stumped/confused ahaha
tho it would be very fun to make somthing that sounds like it could be on a surfing movie,
will be tougher to play on the drums, whoever takes on the drums for this one is going to get alot of blisters and calluses from this pace of drum groove tho i can tell it will be worth the effort pretty unique style of music to try and make,, this one is going to need some pretty extreme drumming lots of snare rolls and tom work definitly maybe even doubles triplets or quadruplets on the kicks even,, it will be a blistering wipeout style drum groove thinking about it

its going to be a tough one to do LOL aahaha i had no idea
its alot harder to play than heavy metal or standard rock,, yeah the 16 bar thing threw me,,,
tho it works really well with alternating guitar riffs playing across the entire fretboard pretty much will be alot of practice to get this one neat,, i will be back with that soon.. im convinced its worth the practicing, its a pretty hardcore riffing technique to make somthing that sounds like 60s surfer rock, all those key changes in the 16 bar variation will be a good challenge

RocknRollGuitarplayer
2/2/2012 7:05:14 AM

hahah yep im workin on the tone now ;) and in 16 bar with lots of alternating riffs... its going take alot of practice to get everything smooth tho i will spend the next 3 or 4 hours jamming to get a 16 bar jam neat

rocknrollguitarplayer has uploaded a new Idea with the title rock lobster rock lobster.
File Description:kind of reminds me of B52s rock lobster, i like that kind of music heres a little jingle in a prime quality hooky cut of the bass riff looped ,,, i think its chopped at 10 or 12 bars at a guess,,,, i count in riffs melodic loops rather than just strict 4s
so i have no idea really, its the spot that grabbed my attention the most that part of the bass riff,, alot can be done with that bass riff, will play around some bridgeing ideas later on,,
will be an easy one to turn into a surfer rock instrumental b52s rock lobster style so this is just some random guitar melody idea today,, i will practice and listen on some surfer rock like b52s and dig out some 60s 70s surfer rock and do some research on it will be a fun project rock lobster style
