Awesome, WT.. The take you did would of been perfect, minus the cat, :)

So you and your snowball should be fine. I thought the tone from the original actually capture the mood very nicely.

I'd love to have you re try the track and get it to how the original was...

I'm feel lucky as hell to have a chance to put my vox on top of it.

I'd love to do, an acoustic version and then a version where we unleash Blue and his mad orchestra skills like he did on Lay it Bare :)

OK - struggling with the way WT plays it so i thought fuck it and play my style :)

Totally new approach - one guitar is the main guitar which is a keeper - theres two others than could be tightened up a lot to make it cleaner - but adds a totally new feel to the song !

I may get crucified for it however

Cool.. as for hearing what I was trying to say about the difference in style :) Yep. If you can nail a WT take, this song will be awesome :)

Did you want to do a small solo part then another chorus to make the song closer to 3 min ?

Maybe it's good as it is. Just a short teaser song.

I look forward to hearing your new track. Whoooo hooooo. I'll redo the vox when you're done. I don't care for my tone on this one compared to the original :(

@ PJ... Can u upload the vocal track as solo, then rather than playing to a click, i can play to the vocal... They may help the feel of my playing

I have managed to pretty much suss out what it is that makes my version sound different to Wholetones and yes you are absolutely correct about the feel, i can just about play the same version as WT... However he is a much better guitarist than I and the problem is recording it start to end without fucking up!! Because its different in style to how i naturally play i keep slipping back into my version.... Will take some time and practise but ill get it im sure

Hmmm After a few listens this morn. It's not bad with the click. I think It just felt different to me. There is a different feel in playing, Is there a way to not have that top note repeat so much ? WT used variations of his picking style so it didn't sound like it was repeating.

So.. Click is ok... I just would love to recapture WT's take.. Sooooo much feeling behind that Guitar playing. Not that yours didn't. :) I hope you don't hate me for knit picking :).

Blue ? Hmmmm I think you were the prisoner of the click track. WT had soooo much feeling in his. Not sure you can capture that under a click. I think you should try a non click version. loosen it up a bit. Also WT played notes differently and you have a high string that plays through out. Subtle things but I wanted to point them out.

Sounds like your phone went off at one part - lol

Anyway, My vox didn't turn out as I hoped this time around. I think because they felt rushed.

Still a good start. Can you put a space for like an acoustic solo in there. after the chorus and then go back into the chorus ? The song is only 2 minutes long anyway so that would make it just the right length.

I think this is an awesome tune WT. Blue you did good but can you please listen to WT's take a couple more times. There are some variations that he does that give it a real nice touch so it doesn't sound repetitive.

I can do the vox over. Unless you have some magic Blue dust you can sprinkle on them to make them sound better :) I'll have to listen to my tone in the morning.

If you can redo the guitar You'd be my hero :)
