Yeah... I think I'm finally getting the hang of this whole recording thing. I'm amazed that you can make songs like this with nothing but a little portable demo recorder. When I first got the recorder, I was just looking for something to help me write lyrics/melodies for songs I was trying to arrange for my band at the time since I had trouble singing and playing at the same time. Never thought I'd be able to do anything like this. Technology is a wonderful thing. :P The guy did a pretty decent job mastering it too. I like it.

I think vocals are to soft in mix and mix is not in balance.
So .. an impression how it sounds with heavy drums.

File Description:Used some effects to remove vocals.
Result has not a sound quality to be enthousiastic.
And .. still vocals are audible.
Perhaps you now can hear better the guitar, the chords and use it better as play along for drums, etc.
Just upload it to give you this for internal use.

I found a guy locally that can master it for very cheap. He said he would work with it and send me a sample. He used to work for Digidesign (maker of Pro Tools) so he should do a decent job. Feel free to toy with it too if you like. If you do a better job, that'd be awesome. I should maybe not list myself as a producer if I don't have mastering tools. lol.. oh well. Oh.. and I did find one final thing in the song that I missed.. So I'll post another version soon. I'll buy you all a drink if you can tell what I changed between the two versions. :) (figuratively speaking) It took me about 10 listens to catch it.

I have some nice mastering tools that came with Sonar Producer Edition. I can give it a shot if you want. If my work does not cut it I know a few people I can recommend for you but they will most likely want to be paid.

You can also browse the artists on this site and send invites to some of the producers. We currently have around 35 artists that list themselves as producers on this site.

I'll get the mix without drums up later tonight, got an errand to run. I already loaded a single track of the vocals under the 'Tracks' tab. If you want the individual takes that I used, Lingah has them posted under 'Mixes'.

If there are no producers who can master the song on this site, there are plenty of other sites we can try. Not all of them are free though. And I'm not sure if the copyrights will conflict. Or the 'Terms of Service' on this site. Will have to look into it. I will probably need to load a quieter version with some 'head room' to be mastered. And whoever does it will probably want a wave file.
