Song Workspace for Still

A laid back finger style classical guitar ballad.
Tempo is 100 for most of the song but there is a slight ritardando at the end.

Lyrically the song is from the perspective of someone who is still deeply in love with a long term partner but feels that the others love has cooled.

I have posted a mix of the guitar, keys, and bass parts that a vocalist can use to track against. I have also have a mix with my vocals for demo purposes.

On the docs tab I have the lyrics and chords posted as a word document.

File Description:This is the final mix. I have used mostly Doms vocals but have mixed in some of Diana's and a little of my own for some harmonies. I Used meek's bass parts and some of the kick drum parts uploaded by shattered.

Ok here is my Version.  Its more in the way of a Rock Ballad type or the way I can Sing type.  I'm not good enough to sing it like Diana or Dominique with any quality.  This is just a different version..Maybe someone else can do a Reggie Version(lol).

Also, Sharkboy John the Guitar and Keys track have distortion in there..I have downloaded a couple times..??? But this gives us an Idea of which way someone can use it...

Also, I couldn't resist to do a "full on" for the very last verse just to see .LOL   Sorry if I stuffed it up...  lol

I just got my USB interface going with the AKG so excuse the excessive vocals..  Also I can now mix direct from Kristal so the quality should be better than previous.....Thank you I enjoyed doing this song.  mark

go for it. Also think harmony. I would be nice to mix the three voices if possible in some parts. Could have some nice texture,

Great Song.  You're probably done with it, but I might give it a try.  Diana's Voice and Dom's Voice are great; But us guys can sing a love song too. lol.   It may also help you to sell it to have it work both ways.

I took most of the reverb off the vocal and changed the drums so that the snare does not come in until the second verse. Let me know if you like this mix better.

Thank you everyone for all your help!!

I will start working on a new mix tonight. I plan to put this on the MOB compilation CD. Since this is a shard copyright project all of you will be entitled to a royalty (if we sell any).

File Description:Right and left channels are actually seperate mics, one above and one underneath drum.You could split L&R to create seperate tracks if you want to change sound of snare.In the mix I panned 15/100 to left (above I think) as this was the quieter side due to distance away from mic.

This is a basic drum mix if you are happy with how they are. If you want better control to do a bit of extra mixing and tweaking, you'd be better off using the individual tracks.(I'll upload them after this track)

Note: In this mix the snare is panned 15/100 to the left
