This is a song I wrote back in college. The recording I have was from a band practice and was made with a tape recorder in the middle of the room. I would love to redo this but it requires people with serious skill to pull it off.

Talent Skill Level Description
Bass Guitar Master I need a bass player with major slapping chops to pull this off. This is a fun tune but is not for the average bear.
Drums Advanced Need a drummer that is into many styles of music especially when they are mixed together in the same song :-). You need a mix of good technical skill and groove.
Producer Intermediate Need some one to help out with the mix and to maybe add some cool syth ideas. Like to keep it sounding raw but also bring out all of the instruments.

i know a bassist here in south aust that plays like that...
he plays funk alot married with kids.. online band would be right up his alley i will see if he can record some tracks for jamming on

would be good to see what hes doing lately as far as a home studio.. he was talking about getting electric kit and home studio for doing collaboration a few months ago

Might be easier just to get a real drummer. I think for now we can record the song structure around a click and have the real drummer add his stuff. We can then rerecord our parts to match the feel.

I have been trying to get the original drummer to join up but he is a heart surgeon now and does not have time.

i will get you some structureised drum tracks... even if i have to jam it out myself on the electric drum kit
i will upload larger high quality files up on mediafire, so i dont clog up this place with drum tracks... your going to need alot of them for your songmaking and funk rock funk metal band creation
kips learning how to play funk bass like flea.....and you play some nice funk chord playing
so if you like... i can get you a ton of drum tracks organised for your song making pleasure
you dont have to use them for final mix... it would only be ezdrummer or superior drummer sounds so you have nice structureised jam tracks... this would be only for jamming out song's onto... im only suggesting this.. cause i know how much of a head-ache it is as a guitarist without jam tracks... jam tracks make alot of difference as far as structures go, thats up to you.. thats my offer .. i would like to see you guys make some nice funky songs... so thats why im crapping on so much LOL

Thanks, the problem I was having, finding a good track, was how the original part, the drummer used the snare to mimic the bass rhythm, it was very cool, I found one that is close, will post it tonight, and listen to yours then, see ya
