Allen Woodard ( AKA - Trips Blue ) has been songwriting for over 18 years. His first band W.A.J. was founded in 1992 and is still recording new material. He has been playing guitar professionally for 16 years. Trips is also a poet, novelist and short story author. Other bands he has been involved in include; Mad Man, The Jone Rivers Band, The Oxy-Morons, Cartoon Logic, The Gods of Experimental Rock, Room 237 and Trips "The" Blue.
Trips has been the founder of all of the bands mentioned earlier and has been the lead vocalist for all of them except Room 237 where he played guitar and keyboard ( mostly strange noises and effects ). Trips is currently working on a nationwide collaboration with many musicians from NY to California via internet.
